That sounds interesting Zambon. People here are pretty happy with the "Platinum" transmission and the 4.10 R&P, but I like the taller ring and pinions of the Verde and 82-83 transaxles. My idea of an ideal ratio would be stock Milano 1st and 2nd, but then a 3.0 third rather than the ta...

So what are those wheels and what size are they ? They look to be about 16" in diameter, but can't tell what the width is.

I thought this would be a fun diversionary topic. My tires are 205/55-15 Dunlop SP 8000. In other words NOT winter tires. Still fun in a parking lot though. A friend of mine got rid of his worn out Subaru and is using his Milano/75 through the winter and seems to be getting along fine with it. Of co...

Cornering at .05G

I think you guys in Australia, South Africa, Georgia, and Florida are missing some fun. Yea you can optimize suspensions and tires to get the grip up there, but what about nearly no grip at all? Then mess it up more with tire chains. You can go from plowing understeer to snap oversteer with just a t...

Your task, should you accept to choose it will be to skip out of your day job early, grab a quick bite at Hooters, then head to the garage and put in four hours each evening for installation, tuning, and problem solving of the new 3.7L. Follow up with a few beers, then finish with three hours work o...

Well it sounds like the quad headlight arrangement is not such a good idea as MD reports. Did you have the same problem with oncoming traffic Mats ?

Thanks,

14.25v for some of the European cars MD? That’s good to know. I’d say that 068-903-803 and its letter iterations may be of the right voltage as I remember seeing VW VR6 as one of the applications. And Jim, I’ll have a look at the TRANSPO web site and see what they’ve got. I still like the idea of ru...

Voltage Regulator

From past posts I've read that the adjustable voltage regulator sold through IAP and other sources has premature wear problems. Another old post that maybe the ticket had an excellent suggestion and I'll post it here: From Tom: "I'll tell you a little secret. You can improve the electrical beha...

Hi Michael, I look forward to some visits to Pacific Raceway (maybe Bremerton too) this year. Last year was a track drought for me do to work issues. What with the convention in Seattle, I've got to get some seat time in. And a few car upgrades as well. If I can get three or so track days in before ...

My car definitely has the strong rear brake bias. So my first upgrade will be vented rotors and widened stock calipers at the rear. This should have been done by now but I ran into employment problems here in Spokane (and JJ, yes Spokane has a dandy track here). That has now been solved. So I think ...
