Matt & Fedezyl, You guys need to lean on your business managers now and sweet talk them into something new and fancy. I'm working on Boeing's 787 which will see first flight in the later part of 2007. It'll have carbon composit fuselage and wings and be approximately 20% more fuel efficient than...

Hi Michael, Now were the tires Falken Azinas 215/45-16 ? Engine pretty much stock except for S-cams & headers ? Stock tranny or something else with an LSD ? Sure enjoyed the convention time trials. Worked the September lapping day but thinking about signing up for the October track day. Keep up ...

After Northern California he should keep going North to Seattle, THEN he can go to Sweden ;-)

Seriously though Greg, if your dad likes traveling, there are a bunch of NWARC club members who would love to see his car and enjoy hosting and toasting his presence and your work.

Get this everyone, JJ still managed to record a lap of 1:51.78 in class B. Not sure if that was with or without dash & wiring :-) That compares with Michael Harris driving his GTV6 in class C at 1:49.72 Chris Benny's Milano class C at 1:52.35 Dave Bibby's GTV6 class D at 1:52.94 Thomas Moll's Al...

Hi Michael,
Hopefully you are getting some financial responses. I got your home address from Harry in the club so sent you a check that way.

I'm sure grippier tires would help MiloMan, but I have the same problem. A mild stock cammed 3L GTV6, stock FI, open differential, and ok 205/50-15s. On a number of occasions when I've really put the power to the pavement the lighter loaded tire spun. That tended to upset the car requiring counter s...

I've had a knocking sound in the past and found it was usually the rear guibo nuts contacting the muffler. A few bashes with my favorite tuning device on the top rear of the muffler solved my problem. Maybe you guys are having the same situation.

I don’t know Mats, I enjoyed reading the cross post, but it’s really tough comparing Alfetta/GTV6/Milano/75’s to E36M3s or other cars for that matter. I think the best way to evaluate one’s improvements against another car is to have the other car be driven and owned by a friend. That way you can cl...

I am not a user yet, but I sure like the RSR system. With that you get coil over shocks at the front with adjustibility for ride height and spring stiffness. Rear springs are adjustable as well, shocks are not. With stiffer torsion bars you have height adjustability but not any for stiffness unless ...

Driving Pacific Raceway in Washington State

Here are my thoughts on my drive at Pacific Raceway during the National Convention. This is kind of long, but I thought some of you may enjoy reading it. If you have driven the track, your input is welcome. I got to run on the track about a month before so was able to shake some of the rust off my d...

Hello Amit,
Glad to have you aboard.
Could you post a picture of your car in full view?
We didn't get those cars here in the states.
Thanks,

Hey JJ, That was a great convention. Had a lot of fun at the track. Too bad you had some gremlins you were chasing. Regarding the Milano era transaxles, weren't they all the same except for the ring and pinion ratios ? What car is the Andrew Garcia built box going into, your standard Verde or the 3....

Do spacers include the hub centering feature on both sides ? Wouldn't that be necessary as these cars seem particularly sensitive to having a good tight fit over that centering flange type feature (for lack of a better description).

Murray, You've certainly got it figured out. The best speed secret of all is seat time at the track. At least for us novice types. And of course truly using ones brakes to the maximum capability is how a slower car with a knowlegable driver can really show up a faster car. You've probably done this ...
