If I go for 3.2 are there any mods worth of doing while the engine is out?
How much HP can i expect from 3.2 running on decated manifolds....
Would I gain anything from using 2.5 gearbox (shorter)

Hi guys...
I'm planning on swapping my 2.5 24V in 156 with 3.0 v6 24V from alfa 166
How much power can I get from 3.0 keeping it n/a and not not spending too much money, my goal would be 270hp...what mods are required to achieve this?
Would a simpler route be going strait for 3.2 GTA engine?

All I can say is wow.. Is the heads/motor warped? if so they might change size again on warm up so milling would not help. you might need to oven bake to get them even them mill. if the coolant kept the inside temp even then there should be no warping. also check the cams for warp. Since aux pulley is burned on this engine....Can I use 2.5 V6 24V pulley and have it balanced with 3.2 crankMats wrote:Externally balanced. So they need to stay together.

One more Q:
I believe that Crank is balanced with flywheel ....BUT:
Is the v6 crank balanced together with aux pulley or they balanced every part for it self ....heard rumors about that but I'm not sure

Spend 4 hours stripping it down today... Coils bottom ok, you can melt the rubber on these with cigarette lighter...so looks like that par didn't take much heat 8) http://img230.imageshack.us/img230/1010/a1vi3.jpg Intake cam a bit smoked through oil refill cap and oil vapor pipe...a bit of cleaning ...
