Mats, I'll let you know results as soon as i can! Actually, I think it's only the cheaper grade of tolulene that attacks rubber - the stuff you buy at the paint store!! The better grade does not. (not 100% on this, but i'll do a test with some fuel line and an old injector - say 3 weeks soaking) Als...

Z In the GTV-6 factory handbook (uk) it shows 31 degrees maximum advance. "M" mark on the pulley?? And 6/8 degrees static @ 800/1000 rpm So I guess your safe with "up to" 31 degrees. just play around on the dyno with 3 or 4 small changes to full load max advance power runs, and s...

You guys should have a look at the PLX devices R500. Wideband lambda controller with built in knock sensing. you can even connect headphones to listen to the sensor output. Will let you record the background noise of the engine by recording a run from 500rpm to redline, then when you start logging p...

I think it would work well, as threads won't get sidetracked with " will my car still pass smog with these cams" "11.5:1 cr is too much for the street" Lets keep it track or race! Question: So who on the board has run Tolulene in the tank?? I've tried it, and it works great - cou...

I think you'll find that rons kit is not happy on 17". the raise the car too much, so when you lower you run out of travel. ALL of his ring cars run 15" and the kit was developed for these cars. Have you lowered the torsion bar correctly before fitting the dampers?? you need to drop one no...

Mount it where the distributer vaccum advance pipe is connected. Just behind the throttle body! you won't need the vac advance any more as the dizzy will need to be locked. Take the car to a dyno to be tuned. If you have little experience in mapping, or tuning dont even think about trying to tune it...

Okay. Should be fun when it's 3.45! It did have twm? american individual throttle bodies, with the exact same airbox as in your pic's a while ago...... as when we were speed testing, one of the linkages snapped off a single body and left the car running on 'five'. Took pics of the broken linkage! So...

Re: Twin Turbo Ultima Pics

Yes-yes, it's not an Alfa, but its heart is.... And BOY is it ALL Alfa!? I thought that you would all appreciate this; In 3.2 TT trim, (with stock GTA crank, stock 24 valve rods, stock 93mm 3.0/3.2 pistons and rings), this beast put 620 horses down with about 1.3 BAR - and not thumb-sucking horses ...

Lets Just keep it simple: some people PREFER turbocharging some people PREFER supercharging where's the point in arguing about?? Mats is also right, it's just a simple bolt on upgrade, thats affordable to many owners who dont want to get too involved with a custom set-up. Lets face it we all drive (...
