Re: Bigger calipers and their suitable discs

I'm looking at the option to fit 166 brembo calipers I already have, but trying to retain the possibility to fit r15 wheels. I don't want to modify the spindles, so I guess my only option is to machine the calipers a bit, so that the "ears" of the spindle, can be between the bolt holes of ...

Are these Brera/159 calipers?

Not sure on the red line, but this could answer something:

Re: Alfa 90 2.0 v6 driveshaft, gearbox

I opened up valve covers and rotated camshafts to a "safe" position, where none of the valves was open. but the crankshaft turned very slowly anyways.
Here is a pic of the intake runner (hard to tell if it's 35 or 36mm):

Re: Alfa 90 2.0 v6 driveshaft, gearbox

The intake manifold pipe inside diameter is 35mm, and I think so are the butterflies. Would that be enough to "feed" a 3liter (with larger injectors maybe)? The rear "propshaft" section is identical to 2lTS 75. The front section has the larger guibo at the front, which _might_ be...

Re: Alfa 90 2.0 v6 driveshaft, gearbox

Yep. It has the split plenum. The car was in a pretty bad state when I got it. Someone had taken some parts off while it was in storage (for almost 10 years) and taken off the timing belt for some reason (although the owner said the engine was ok, when he "parked" the car in storage). This...

Hi Typhoon90!
Interesting pics!
I started a similar project (started to strip my Novanta last week), hope you will continue to post pics of the repairs.

Best of luck,

Alfa 90 2.0 v6 driveshaft, gearbox

Sorry it's not a gtv6, but this is one of the best forums for the transaxle information, so I thought I'd post here. The thing is I have bought a 90 2.0 v6 and I am now wondering what kind of monster driveshaft it has. It looks like the front section from a v6 (big guibo on the engine side), then a ...

Re: Lowering front

Hardcore alfa mechanics probably know this by heart. But for those of us who haven't done this before, this could be the best guide for lowering the front end of Alfetta/GTV/75 in the world: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4a5UHyMb_fw P.S. I am not the author of the video, just noticed it was uploade...

Re: New V6 3liter 12v pistons.

I think Mats complained about the non-EVO manifolds (cracking? and not so good design?). But have not heard him blowing a HG (consider that I have VERY limited knowledge on this engine here). But it would be nice to have a 2.0 TS Turbo in the engine bay. JK, what do you think? 2.0 TS T? More troubl...

I'm about to assemble my TS transaxle.
What's the best grease to use on the spherical pin (fork fulcrum) and clutch cylinder pin?
