Hmm this has caught my attention too, because im looking at putting a 75 TS box into my 85 GTV...

Hmm, im going to be getting a 75 TS box in the next few weeks, i've got an '84 GTV, the only thing i've heard that is different is the speedo setup. can anyone elaborate on this for me?

Jim, what about crimping then soldering one end? i guess this is a no no as well?
