Re: Alfa GTV 916 2,0 V6 TB bring back to life after 12 years
For these cars, 916, 156, I’m going to move towards more electrical accessories. For example electro-hydraulic PS pump, maybe electric AC compressor and move them into the boot. Although the GTV has a small boot to begin with. The battery is something I’d like to move into the boot too. All I want i...

What starter are you using? It sounds like a non alfa starter. Wondering if it’s a Brise starter

Awesome Pieter! Which cams are these? I’m guessing Catcams, seeing you have cat cam gears. Saw your vids on YouTube, car sounds great!!!
MD,
Mate you should stop wrapping things.

Re: Building the supercharger to the engine (75 3.0V6)
Is this material is the same as the factory torsion bars? I’m assuming this should as stiff as other aftermarket 25.4mm bars?

Re: Supercharged 3.0 24V
I wonder what Brian Berger uses for liners in his Alfetta GTV, he’s been boosting it for a while now. I don’t think he closed the deck.

Re: Hello from relocation to UK with my two South African GTV6's
Wow. Really takes this car out of the the reach of regular working folks.
My dad has a nice red 3.0, but we're not going to sell that. Probably build a warehouse in his backyard and stuff all the cars in there.

Re: Supercharged 3.0 24V
Can’t find any good Alfetta 1.8 blocks here. Larry recommended me against the older 1.8 engines. The reason I’m going for a 2L is due to availability. Shipping is just stupid expensive these days. Trying to make do with what I have over here. If someone can get me a 75 1.8ie for €1k, I’m all ears. P...

Re: Supercharged 3.0 24V
1.8T is a no go. JK got my hopes up though.....shipping prices too high.....I've got a seller wanting to sell me a 1.8T for 4K. I'm guessing at the very least it should get a full resealing and rings. With shipping and customs it should be around $7K total, for an old used engine..... No thanks. In ...

Well, I’m tempted to take down the photo of the highly boosted hair dryer because JK might incorporate that in his new book

Re: Supercharged 3.0 24V
What the heck, you’re back here! :) Yeah I’m abandoning the Zsupercharged V6 idea. The container rates have quintupled so I might have to do things locally. I discussed this with Alfa Parts Exchange and we will slowly build a 2.0L with darton sleeves, o-ring the liners, wiseco 8.5:1 pistons, maxpeed...

Re: Supercharged 3.0 24V
Ok will look into the new sprintex on a 3.0.
Actually Jim told me to just get a 1.8T So if anyone sees a 1.8T on ebay let me know. Failing that, a 2.0T with Westwood liners, xtreme tuning manifolds.

Supercharged 3.0 24V
Has anyone here built a rotrex supercharged 24v? Thinking of replacing my 3.2 with a 3.0 SC. Not looking for some crazy horsepower figures, maybe 350 bhp? Don't want to re-invent the wheel if someone already has the right piston design. Actually, Steve in Dorset, you've done it, but with a positive ...

Re: Hello from relocation to UK with my two South African GTV6's
Nice ride height Kev, I have the 27mm so I’ve been dreading to lower mine any at all, just too much work. About 1.5 finger gap. I think George’s car has no gap at all?
Good job keeping MD in his place, he needs to realize that triple digits are only good on the speedometer and not on his age.
