There were 3 different speedos mounted in GTV6 through the years, all with different turn/reaction values if you know what I mean. You can find the information about your sp...

The speedo needs 3 things connected - power, earth and signal. To test it, you need to provide all of these and the signal required is a 0-12v square wave. Depends on the trans as to the frequency. My speedo is a GTV2.0 one and 270 Hz = 240 km/h. GTV6's will require a different frequency but this w...

Hi again, I know got my speedo to work properly again, and the sollution was just a lie away....... The former owner didn't tell me the truth when I asked him what he had switched the original gearbox with. Not that I believed him fully either but, why lie when I already bought the car. If he lied b...

My GTV6 won't idle!
Does anyone of you have a clue why my GTV6-83 won't idle? I started at first try after the winter but it won't idle, not even when it becomes warm. I've changed the cold start injector, but it didn't do any good.

Nice and soft..........
Yeah, that might be the result.........Hopefully! I don't wanna ruin the GT-feel as I use it as my daily transportation but it's nice to be able to floor it once in a while and still be on the road afterwards.

Thanks!
Thank you all for your replies, it helps a lot. I like to spend my money and time upgrading and improving, not re-inventing what's already is invented.

Hi Folks! I need advice about how to upgrade my cars road handling. How have you ...

I have now investigated the things I found beneath the car the other day. It is an electric installation beyond belief. There are a couple of cables attached for some reason, but no ampifier! (must be an early attempt to fix this nowadays common problem) I will follow Guran's description and hope fo...
