Yes, I removed the "GTV6 2.5" Badge before I got the car in the bodyshop for painting and didn't put it back again. I don't find any reason to glue it again and maybe ruin the paint, I like the way it looks right now

Does anybody know if there's any modification needed to fit a pair of 164S cams in a Milano/75's 3.0 engine?

Jose_76 GTV6

Hi everybody! Finally I'm posting a couple pics of my car! http://img149.imageshack.us/img149/4907/gtv614sc.th.jpg http://img149.imageshack.us/img149/5340/gtv627jr.th.jpg Actually, I have the stock rims instead of the ones in the pictures (from a friend), I was just cleaning my rims. I'm from...

I don't think you can do that, just bucause you have to change the cardan and it's impossible to access it with the engine in its place. More over, if the GTV6 is an early one, the holes in the chassis for the steering rack are too small to remove it through those holes.

Thanks JJ. I'd definitely go for that cheapest way. It'd be enough for me, but I don't understand the work on the rods. Can you post a pic or so? And about machining the pistons...is it just a bit clearance for the valves? how much? or maybe a plain machining on the head of the piston? Does Dawie ha...

I know power and torque gains with turbos are bigger, but I just can't do that or I could get in trouble with the authorities  . on the other hand, the aspirated sounds far better  . I'd go for 220-250HP, that would be enough for me. That's why I want to know what's the best option betwee...

Yep, you're damn right, but I can't fit a supercharger or the TÜV guys will arrest me!

I should make it look as standard as possible. I could see a picture of LENZ's 24v conversion on his 75, that looks extremely clean and like it was stock, but couldn't contact him to ask

Modified 3.0 12v versus 3.0 24v

As I recently saw my engine (stock 3.0 12v) starting to oil burn, I'm thinking about the future and what's the best option to go for. I know rebuilding it with 10.5:1 pistons (where to buy?), CB cams, ported heads, bigger intake valves, CSC headers, bigger runners and plennum, larger AFM & Megas...

MS on a 24v

Has anybody tried to fit a MS in a 24v engine? Does it worth it?
I'm just curious about that, because I'm wondering what's easier: adapting the stock 24v ECU or the MS

For Kg/cm to lb/inch, Multiply by 55.88, for the inverse conversion divide by the same number.

That's ok if you want a not-so-sporty-daily-driver. As I posted in other topics, I tried 285lbs at the front and it was DAAAAAAAAAAAAARN soft and the rear 238 lbs is about the same as standard in the GTV6 and Milano (maybe a 10% or so stiffer in the SZ). After several tests with different setups in ...
