Where are you from? I fitted a pair of turning signals from a Seat Ibiza (first version). Here in Spain they're pretty cheap (7 or 8€ each) and easy to find. I think that you may be able to suit a the ones from the BMW e30 series. They are exactly the same size.

You can get those splash guards at www.international-auto.com but these parts are a bit expensive to be just steel.

Barry, thanks for the pics. That looks stunning!
What front brakes did you fit to match? It looks that there's a lot of people that disagree with my proposition. What about you?

JJ, what do you think?

What Barry posted (at least what I saw) is that he regreted the front 164 calipers for the rear, but didn't mention anything about the size of the discs. My reason to fit bigger brakes at the rear was just trying to keep the standard proportions of the braking systems. You can't fit the same brakes ...

Ok, guys, I really appreciate your comments. I've never done something like this before, so I just went for some hipothesis before practice. The logic I applied was simple: The 156 GTA has those brakes at the front, right? and 275mm discs at the rear, but the weight distribution makes its rear end l...

Jim, proportions are just the point. That's just what I've taken care at while thinking of the right rear discs. Standard brake discs on the GTV6 are Front 269mm and Rear 250mm. That makes a 1,076 to 1 ratio between axles. Fitting front 305mm discs and rear 281mm, you have a 1,085 to 1 ratio, so you...

I already have the red GTA Brembos  and at the rear I'm going to fit a pair of 281x26mm vented discs from a 164 24v

What material should I use to build the brackets? Aluminium? Steel?

I can get good prices at the machine shop for that, but I want to give them the mesures so they don't loose too much time and charge it to me!! ;D

Damn!!! 250 euros for the two hats??

Right, Mats. I want to build adaptor brackets like the ones in the pic above made by Barry, but I don't know the measures they must have :( .

The 147 2.0 TS and 1.9 JTD front discs are also 284x22mm, but they have 5 stud holes. :(

Those SZ discs are expensive, that's right, and have 5 stud holes on them. You can try cheaper 284x22mm ones with 4x98mm holes from an Alfa 145 or 146 2.0 Twin Spark. You would need to do some adaptation, just check it out this diagrams: SZ discs: http://img252.echo.cx/img252/6527/bremboref094984102...
