Re: Oil level
Check out motortrend engine masters. https://www.motortrendondemand.com/detail/how-oil-kills-power/0_iqs4grke/ Quick summary, it is better to run with oil free of the moving parts crank, towards the minimum level. Lower RPM there isn't all that much difference, but at the higher RPM, slush will crea...

Re: AlfaGtv6.com - CLOSING TIME - January 31st 2019.
Hello, I'm mostly a lurker, but it will be a great shame if another forum has to close. It is a companion in my bookmarks, but I didn't find the time to post regularly. A ton of information will be lost if no solution is found. Thank you for your commitment thus far! Hopefully you'll change your min...

Re: Flipped ball joint LCA
Finding this thread here made me happy, as this is currently something what is the last step for my car set-up. And perhaps there have been some new advances regarding this. The wishbones of my car are currently also pointing upwards due to lowering and fitting 30mm torsion bars and 60kg rsr springs...

Re: Resevoir Cap Specification

Obviously running a too high pressure can cause damage to the engine or other parts of the cooling system. Newer cars run much higher pressures (1.2 etc) so I think best is 1 or close to. This is the si...

I can keep the car and myself cool, on highways or in traffic. Hottest temperature I have driven wit...

Re: A/C installation in a non A/C spec GTV6
So an update. I ran halfway during this summer into some trouble. One of my radiator fans died. So I bought a second hand 156/166 jtd unit, welded some mounting points to it. http://i376.photobucket.com/albums/oo209/Melvivio/Alfa%20Romeo%201980%20GTV6/IMG_5186.jpg The result is a much more stable wa...

Never read the answer to the question, were you able to get in front of the other Alfa's with your 24v engine?

Very fun and good conversion! When I shoot my steering rack to bits this might be a good conversion for my luxury salon-car.

Re: Some more brake upgrades for the 116-Barry
@MD and Giuliettaevo2 My car is leaking much harder then over just the seals..... There is also lesser room around the gearbox with my exhaust, but it can be pulled apart fairly easy! I also have no airducts yet :wall: @Kevin Your welcome! I'll keep you posted when I make my design :)
