Fedezyl, That's an early 737 (in the photo). In my hometown's runway, the pilot had to engage all brakes, put the engine to full power and once the revs are high the brakes are released. Now the 737-400 has no problems at all. The reverse thrusters were also very interesting on the old 737s. I love...

hmm, interesting, I rented a 159 when I was in France 2 weeks ago, but they only had the 1.9 JTD 120bhp...it was nice, responsive, if a bit short on power but still good for 205kmh on the A1 to Lille, hehe, I wanted to rent a petrol engine but they had none, not the 2.4 5 cyl JTD either..just the en...

hmm, wires out...three, one to positive coil, one to negative coil, one to ground, yep, i'm sure it's a hall type ignition module, that's what the guy said it was and the only thing he builds as far as ignition goes...it's missing a resistance out of the coil to the distributor, that I didn't put in...

Electronic ignition problem, please help!
Well, I have a little problem...here's the thing...I bought in France an electronic ignition conversion for my bosch distributor on the 1.6, here's the thing, the kit basically replaces the condenser and the other crap by a disk with four magnets and a little sensor that you put in there, I followed...

Nice pics Fedezyl,Barry i'm amazed at the F15 Barry, if you look at the touchdown shot you can see theres hardly any control inputs to compensate for the lost wing!!!! minimal rudder input and the wings thats still there has either the flap or aileron(not sure its an F15) fully deflected down!!! un...

Well, Citation X's cruise at .92..that's fast...but yeah, 727's are among the fastest airliners out there, the 747 is very fast too, .86 cruise.., tell me Greg, what exactly do you do on the 727 to increase the roll rate? hehe, I guess that's the good thing about flying cargo...no passenger complain...

I didnt think they let too many of them get around anymore! What are they like, Greg? I imagine it would be a nice challenging aircraft to fly. I didnt realise you meant flight enginer, as opposed to an engineer- that would've been on 747 300s? I have a friend whose dad is one of the last of the br...

Yes, some kind of computer gremlin kept the aircraft from applying go around thrust...since, basically the autothrottle is on all the time, you just move the throttles into given detents, it just put out enough thrust to maintain that angle of attack and speed I guess, Airbuses have something called...

Well I don't know how I somehow missed this post, yesterday was my first flight after a 36 day vacation, wow I can tell you it's nice, haha, kinda missed flying after 2 weeks of inactivity, what was certainly odd was to go flying a Piper Cub about 3 weeks ago, going from 140kts on final to 50 mph is...
