It was'nt so much seagulls this year. It was another type of maingey seabirds that nest in the roof of the office building at work. Those pricks shat over everything far and wide. Small bird big load. Then one day they all packed up and buggered off somewhere else. Been a shit free enviroment round ...

MD, the red recycle bin, obscured from view in shot, is where we brew the nitro-methane super dog poo, top fuel that powers the Yellow "Super Bin". Legend in the street. Nic, the colour is a period Alfa spec but the chart from which I pick had no name just a 7 or 8 digit code. GTV36, I do ...

Paint done

Finished putting the windows back in last night and most of the interior today after work. I'm pretty happy with the result. Good to know that the rust is remedied. Turned out to be a lot more of it than we bargined for. Still a few minor niggles to sort but over all its great to be driving it again...

Courtesy Lights

Anyone got a pair of interior courtesy lights with the chrome plastic bezels? And also if I could lay my maulers on a power mirror toggle switch that would be great.

Hi Kevin I'm just looking to drop the rear down an inch or so to level up the car. I dropped the front down one spline on the tortion rod and that took care of the front. Its just the rear sits up a bit too much now. The choice of spring is crap here. 2-3 months if I go through a shop and only one b...

So I take it that this applies to my build also? Standard 2.5 setup. Do these have low impedence injectors?

Thanx Tim.

OK up with it now. So I have allready built the VR circurt as per step 51. So should go back and install the Hall circut also and jumper what I need to? I will do a search for a Hall sensor install.

Thanx Again

High curent ignition driver circut

Step 65: The high current ignition circut. I presume that I should go this way to use a signal from the coil?

Hey Zig, I too are a novice at this ECU thing but so far I've learnt quite a bit. The soldering skills have been sharpened considerably also. I am building the MSII kit at the mo. Fairly straight forward, but I have appreciated Murrays kind help on a couple of occasions. Usally when there are a coup...

O.K cheerz Murray. Last time I looked I saw the VR arrangement in there. When or why did AR change this system? Or is it a Specific market thing?

Any way thanx again for the info. I'll carry on with the build.

Trigger circuts

Sorry for the dumbass questions again, but I assume that our cars (standard 2.5) trigger from the coil and I should just skip to step 50b of the assembly guide?

Thanx Tim.

Yes thats right everone!! Only 686 Alfa Romeo GTV6s were imported into the U.S. in 1986. I saw a factory production file (that was lifted from this site over at the BB) which confirmed that indeed there were only 686 GTV6s built for the American market. Only 685 others (once) like it. Good selling p...
