Greased up the bushings and put them in - then bolted the links to the center pivot and tightened - then slid the center pivot on to the Dedion and tightend- slid the link ends up to the body brackets and put the bolts through - then cranked it all tight. Last was to take a punch and knock the littl...

Okay, got the Watts back on tonight. One thing I didn't care for was that the metal tube in the Powerflex center pivot bushing was about an 1/8" short once the bushings were in place (see photo). Doesn't seem quite right to me, but since there are large washers to each side of the bushing I'm t...

Sure the colors could be duplicated - but I know I saw a gtv6 with badges like that here in California years back, so it's pretty strange that Garth is in Australia - and I mean that badge is exactly like the one I saw dead-on down to the brass outlines. I think it would have had to have come from t...

I've seen one like that before! It was maybe 15 years back I think on a white gtv6 (84-86), don't seem to remember the car being anything else special, just the badges being different color - thought it was pretty darn cool!

Boy, the crap someone has to take when a three hour job stretches to two weeks! Guess I better get the SmurfWatts back on the car tonight!

Well, the seats need new upholstry but come on - it matches the interior. Or are you saying it should have been chromed - I hear that's what makes race cars so fast :D

Yes - just using the old sleeves - but dang the bolts still aren't here.

Usually, I don't care for the look of 17's much less 18's on the V-6 but man those work well with the cars lines - must be the wheel pattern.

I still want a set of Schmidt wheels - just can't see coughing up over $2,000 for them!

I was expecting the bolts to show up on Friday - didn't happen :( Once they're here and I see that they are correct I'll pass along all the info. so anyone can order them easily. They are grade 10.9 so should be good! BTW - I was looking up bolt grade info. on the web ... less I am mistaken it looks...

It looks like x-rad was just step ahead of me on doing this to his car - I also bought the poly bushing endlink kit from IAP for the rear sway bar and like x-rad am a little bummed about the endlink bolts being just 7.5mm instead of 10mm. It will probably work fine but it just bothers me to have bus...

So, a week later here and back to finishing this up - if I hadn't repainted the Watts this would probably be a 2 to 3 hour project at the most - very easy :)

Would have to agree on that! I'd use my old ones except that the threads are wasted.
