Mats I dont' service other peoples cars so I have no knowledge of your claim. What I have is personal experience and the engine pipe (on a second car)and manifold are fully lagged and I have never had a problem along the lines of what you say but I have heard these claims before. In Oz, this reduces...

Fuel pump
Marco,
If you are considering a replacement pump, check out the main unit from and old Volvo 240 GL. They are tough as nails and have lots grunt. You wil need to change the mount a little but it could save some bucks in the process. I say could but I am not familiar with your local prices..

..like to edit your link? For street or racing I don't believe that the transaxle is going to be an issue up until you get to ridiculous amounts of horsepower and if your car is modified that much well, why not deal with transmission issues to the same degree of modification? I think this topic is d...

One other unique thing about my rig is the way we sorted out the electronic speedo problem having a Veglia Speedo head and a Jaeger sender in the twin spark transaxle that is now fitted to the car. Like all of you who develop a problem when you do the same, my speedo was reading and reporting on var...

Maurizio I made this provision for my exhausts as I originally had intended to supercharge the V6. I also made a pretty exotic cold air intake sytem to go with that. Note that in the engine bay you cannot see an air cleaner? That's because it lives inside the right hand side front mudguard. Well, on...

gtv11636 If you caught Mats comment earlier, it is not just a throw away line. And no, I wasn't just talking about conditions in the wet. What happens when you push too hard from the rear is that somehow you have to get the front to stick equally as well otherwise you get so much understeer that it ...
