Re: Race Animal ?
We've been waiting a while for Franco to complete this car . It's first competitive outing in the South African exotic super car series is this weekend . Most cars in this series start at 700hp up 1000hp . Some pics of this longitudinal mount 24v 3.7 twin turbo . Link to the event http://www.motorsp...

Re: Crank angel sensor pulley
Here's a pic show how the trigger wheel has had a 140mm recess machine out and pressed onto pulley with four counter sunk bolts . Trigger wheels that are not recessed on do come off . However on the new ones I'm going to laser cut I'm going to make them much lighter with a whole lot of holes cut aro...

Re: Alfa Romeo Championship at Brands Hatch
George's 3.2 is running Omex . The motor has not even had its heads off since it was pulled from a low mileage scrapper thus it's absolutely standard . But it has light flight wheel , long 42mm primaries ( same length jk ) , tapered plenum . Makes 270hp which is about right for standard engine with ...

Re: 166 24v into 116 GTV
While I was drawing parts to be cut I did plenum again . Also working on adaptor for oil filter / adaptor do you don't have to drill in block but I think I will only finish that next month . Just digging up some old dims for coupling cage as well . These work really well . The black 75 that raced at...

Re: Alfa Romeo Championship at Brands Hatch
Some pics of the GTV that came flying towards us . It totally cleared the tyre wall and was caught in the high fences . These fences absorb so much energy that totally saved the driver . He clipped a 147 entering Paddock hill which got the back out and actually gave it enough sideways momentum to st...

Some more pics of George's 75 . Amazing to see a rear wheel drive transaxle nearly lap the 147gTA 3.2 also on full slicks . The 75s carry far more corner speed .

Some more pics of a really beautiful stratos that Richard Melvin brought along . Was hoping he might be racing his Napolina GTV
The metallic green sud was pretty quick as I held off a 355 Ferrari challenge prepared car for a few laps . Sud was 1800 , steel crank and rods with 48mm carbs .

Re: Alfa Romeo Championship at Brands Hatch
I must post pics from the day . The silver 156 pushes 450hp from the 155q4 motor through a Baci box . The blue Gta is a 3.8 L 24v . George in black 75 drove brilliantly as that was his 5th race only in a car ... However is has raced karts at a very high level . Snowden is a legend as he was about 30...

Re: Crank angel sensor pulley
If you worried about bolting trigger wheel on front and want to keep it looking more original by pressing trigger wheel on rear of pulley then remove water pump pulley and either machine two grooves off or bolt it back reversed as it is offset . The original pulley is seven groove and you can run fi...

Re: Crank angel sensor pulley
Hi , this pic is not very good but this Gtv has been running a few seasons with a Gta motor . It has original pulley with 60-2 wheel on . Never been any issues with pulley dampner moving to much ( or at all ) and if it did I would rather the trigger wheel be the indicator that my front pulley is del...
