My 84 GTV6 has started running lean at idle and a fluctuating idle speed. I have an Autometer fuel air meter installed and until recently showed good mixture, now it goes full lean after warmup at idle. Thanks guys. I havent posted on here in quite a while as my GTV6 has been doing very well. It seemed easy enough to remove, but I've "assumed" things like this before and had it bite me.

Its the original manual rack. I looked closer at it last night and it looks easy enough, 4 bolts and a really tight fit. I'm thinking I'll have to remove the exhaust headers to make it easier to get at the mounting bolts and it should slide out the left (drivers) side. I think the rack guide bushing...

I want to remove the rack from my 84 GTV6, is there anything I should be aware of before I start? Any special tools?

Another thing to check is the booster check valve on the plenum. On the GTV6 and Milano these tend to get clogged internally because of the location on the plenum(Spiders use the same valve just located different on the intake manifold), just clean it out with carb cleaner. What front pipes to use with SZ headers
I have a set of the stainless SZ headers, will these bolt up to the "euro" front pipes or do I have to have the front pipes custom made on the GTV6?

IAP has #14231 listed as the switch with 4 main wires(larger diameter wires), the smaller 2 wires you mentioned are for the key in ignition buzzer, not all switches include this anymore, I have mine unplugged, the buzzer was too annoying.
