Thanks for the replies, Barry and Micke. I am going back to the drawing board and look at the front end. I can buy 27 mm front torsion bars from Performatek. Dont, stick with your first idea. Stiffer rear sway :) I use a 24mm adjustable rear sway bar, works wonders. Stock front bar. As a side note,...

That looks really nice, my 75 is on MAK Stings aswell, although only 16" x 7.5".

Atm the tyre profile is too large and makes the car look jacked up, but next time round I'll be getting lower profile for sure, and wider too.

I think you'd need a lot of work to get more power from a 116 GTV than is in that 2002. 375hp is insane.

I have no clue as to how well the 2002's handle, so I guess that one can be fielded by someone else.

Very nice indeed.

Thats one hell of a gearshift boot.

Go the aussie alfas! :D

Also, I think the guys in the USA have a harder time with Alfa related business. Alfa havent existed in the USA for a long time now.

It is for street and light track. Mind you, what I class as street is not exactly street driving. Its a weekend car used solely for driving fast (and legal, of course), not as any kind of transport. I expect the outside wheel to drag, we'll see how it is. Thanks for the warning though, but its alrea...

After tightening my suspension at the rear, I spun the inside wheel all the time on my stock 2.5L V6 on Falken Azenis rubber ST115.

Just thought I'd let you know, doesnt seem that the rubber would help all that much. Go for the LSD ;)

The tensioner and bearings were not changed. That place is cheap.

Serves them right, now they have to pay for all the new parts, haha.

Alfa 166 Fun.

Hey, I just thought I'd post this. We bought a 1999 AR 166 24V sportronic not too long ago. We have driven it for about 4000km's when the tensioner seized and snapped the cambelt resulting in you know what. According to the Alfa dealer, the cam belt was indeed changed at 60,000km's as per usual. Bit...
