Re: Steve's 3.0 24v supercharged GTV
Ride height is 14cm front 15.5cm rear from jacking point to floor, that's on 225/40/16 tyres. Re total front travel, not entirely sure as I didn't measure that when doing the work.... by eye: roughly at least 10cm of rebound, in bump probably no more than 5cm before the bump stops enter the game. Dr...

Re: Steve's 3.0 24v supercharged GTV
hi 75evo,
I am indeed in Dorset, Alex's workshop is always an absolutely fascinating place to visit, not sure if he's holding an open day this year though.
Do ping me if you're around these parts

Re: Busso V6 3.2 24v Coil Pack
Alfaaa1, your hand drawing is correct for the factory wiring. Trigger goes to one of the 6 ignitor transitors within ECU, centre is earthed to the head (or wherever you ground it), 3rd pin is fused 12v and only on when ignition is on.

Re: Steve's 3.0 24v supercharged GTV
Finally binned the old yellow koni's that have been on the GTV for many years... I really didn't realise how hopeless they were until the new units were in, the difference is night and day. The car now stays off it's bump stops over big bumps and feels much firmer and most importantly very well cont...

Re: Clutch Release Bearing - Removal
Found a quick and easy method of bleeding the stubborn last air from the clutch slave, this is more effective than a pressure bleeder and mostly a one person job too :- 1. Lift rear of car and secure it safely for access underneath. Axle stands or similar are essential for safety. 2. Refill and blee...

Re: Clutch Release Bearing - Removal
Found and fixed another problem.... After putting it all back together again I started it up for the first time to find made the most God awful loud screaming / squealing noise from the clutch area. Similar to nails on a chalk board but way louder. Depressing the pedal made no difference to the nois...

Re: Clutch Release Bearing - Removal
Cheers guys. Spoke with Kevin.. was very simple: Unbolt pressure plate, turn it upside down so it's resting upon the release bearing and push down a little. The circlip holding the bearing to the pressure plate becomes easily removable and the bearing lifts (or falls!) out. I took some measurements ...

Clutch Release Bearing - Removal
Hi all, Hope you're all keeping safe and well in these strange times. Seeing as we all have lots of time at home at the moment I thought I'd change my clutch, but have run into a problem - mainly with my own lack of knowledge ! Question - What is the correct method for removing the Alfa pull type re...

Nothing for a twin spark I'm afraid, only for a 24v 3.0 or 12v 3.0 - both are just single plug engines

Just spotted this... are you still looking for something? if so what spec are you running (fuel only, fuel table size, spark too?, stock motor?)
