Re: Steering rack
Why not use the 75 rack? Just need to figure out the rack to column connection.

Re: My rebuild!
Jules,
Look at this electric ACsetup on a GTV6 SC. More room in the engine bay,

With your Prius power steering and this AC setup, you’re good to go mate, the engine bay will be all clean much easier to work with.

Re: 27mm torsion bar adjustment question
Thanks Makes sense. But only the a-arm is coming off, I don’t want to deal with splines on both ends. What a nightmare it was the last time.

Engine dyno vs chassis dyno
The guy tests 2 cars on both the engine and chassis dyno

Skip towards the end of the video. His math is a bit wonky, but it just proves that transmission losses aren’t a straight percentage.

27mm torsion bar adjustment question
Does anyone know for 27mm torsion bars, if I adjust it by 1 spline at the lower a-arm, how many mm it would go down by? Trying to avoid having to adjust both sides of the torsion bars. Too much work.
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Building the supercharger to the engine (75 3.0V6)
I was thinking port the intake and exhaust ports it to 3.0 port size, 3.0 valves, use low overlap high lift cams. The GTV6 with the 2.5 24V drift car in northern europe (forgot which country) is making tons of power 300-400 bhp. If the 2.5 with high boost can make 300 bhp, that would e great. I think...

Re: Building the supercharger to the engine (75 3.0V6)
I was wrong. The 2.5 in the 75 has 9:1 CR. Rotrex is like a turbo, so no crazy torque at low rpms. The sprintex is a positive disp. twin scroll unit so lots of torque and heat.

Re: Building the supercharger to the engine (75 3.0V6)
How much power do you think a 2.5 12v with cams and a Rotrex running 1 bar of boost can put out? 300 bhp possible? Thinking of building a 2.5 12v since they are pretty cheap and already have low comp 9.5:1 pistons.

Re: Steve's 3.0 24v supercharged GTV
Duk, Is that Richard M's stuff? I think just the extended top ball joint should already help correct the geometry for a lowered car. Probably not the best solution but it's pretty safe and lower cost approach instead of a drop spindle or a modified upright to fit an upside down ball joint . MD also ...

Re: Steve's 3.0 24v supercharged GTV
Looks great! Glad to hear the ride quality and handling is good. I bought my first AVO coilovers back in 2000 from Demon Tweeks. I think the posting is still in the old forum. Better than the teeth shattering Bilsteins (which someone gave me for free). For my next set I will use Annex suspension. Th...
