My 81' gtv6 does not have one. As the '83 I had did not have one either.

I also had a problem with the courtesy lights and the fault was at the door switch which is of a VERY poor quality. It needed a bit of sanding to clean the contact areas and it then worked ok.

Hi terry.

Maybe the throttle cable is on its way out or it needs a bit of grease. I know... silly... but, with your description in mind, that is what what I would check first.

Good luck.

Regards.

Seb, Nice work man! At last you enjoy the fruits of hard work! The cold air arrangement is very neat and tidy. That is exactly what I was planning to do in mine. Well done! Ah... the video...Nice!!! Take some more when you decide to rev the thing a bit higher ;) I like the steering wheel :P and put ...

Hi Dean.

I would also check the front gearbox rubber mounts. If the are shot the rear donut will be touching from time to time the driveshaft tunnel.

Good luck.

You will need several "special" tools to do the job yourself. Visit http://www.users.on.net/~craigf/ and click on the "tools page". There are 4 tools in clickable green color that are needed for the job. So you have to either find the original AR tools (very difficult) or fabrica...

Sam, have a look at Greg's website. It has everything written in detail about how the AVV works and how it can be diagnosed and tuned. I think the cable is there in order to help the valve warm up and not to control it. I don't think it goes to the ECU. hmm... you are talking about the gtv6/75 AAVs ...

Carl, I have the same problem with my 75. Though in turns it is the opposite. At left turns it stops and when going right it growls more... In my case it is the right rear wheel bearing. Maybe yours is the left one

Good luck.

Hi, I don't really know how the black trim is taken out but I will make a guess! The wiper from the INSIDE of the window is taken out by removing the trim panel and then drilling the 3-4 (I think) rivets that hold the cromed trim to the door frame. The rubber is SLIDED in the rail of that cromed pie...

Carel, you beat me off the line with that link to the old forum :P What a ridiculus piece of engineering are those donuts... I would expect alfa to come back with a revised design like they did with the cambelt tensioner. But again... they made the things worse according to many  I think JJ i...

For me it depends on the price too  I am defenately interested though. It is also good that the PS rack can be made manual as it gives more flexibility if you invest in a quick PS rack kit. By the way, at the Autosport motorsport exhibition in Birmingham back in January, I asked the quaife tea...

Zambon, The fact that you seem to have a transplanted gtv6 speedometer in your verde, makes me think that there is a strong possibility that you have a gtv6 transaxle too. Maybe the previous owner hit trouble with the gbox and decided to bolt one (cheaper maybe) from a gtv6. Then he changed the spee...
