I just realized that my supercharger has a press on pulley. I think that means that I will need to buy a new nose cone in order to change the pulley size. Is this correct? No, I'm pretty sure you can still change the pulley, (the SVT M112s are pressed I think?) you need a proper pulley puller so yo...

Pretty expensive way to play sabre-rattling over china, perhaps a good thing then that the F22 programme got cut. Anyone have an idea of how this aircraft preforms against the su-37? okay, i forget the...

Some interesting notes on F22 combat performance.... they've been benchmarking it in air combat trials agains f15s, and not a single "kill" by the 15s have been scored against the 22... ie single f22 splashes 4 f15s before they can target him...

Hey Ben, Your reply has been greatfully accepted. Please go past "Go!" and collect your $200. Been giving some serious thought to your suggestion. So far the only chink that I have a problem with would be the base reference level to start all the measuring with. If you used a floor, most ...

Can't see if anyone has provided a reply here. It's something I am interested in too. I believe universal joints are meant to work at an angle of between 2-4 degrees. I would like to know what the factory alignment actually is or a technique on how to accurately measure this. It has always been cla...

Yeah, FEM is like statistics, you can make anything look good.. Designing to Rp 0.2 works until you come unstuck. Suddenly all the forces are not transmitted through the wheels and you are in big trouble. Not quite following how the loads wind up not being transmitted through the whe...
