Hmm just had an interesting thought that hadn't occured to me before. The M5 has individual throttle bodies I assume, now being a V8 that would be enough tb's for 2 of our 4 cylinder motors. Anyone got a wrecked M5 sitting around? :)

TS ignition timing question

Hey there all. Just a question that popped into my head while reading the TS thread below. If the TS engine has two seperate distributors, one on the block and one camshaft driven I believe. Are the timing curves for both of them identical? Is the timing set so that both plugs in each cylinder spark...

I posted the links on the old board a while ago, let me know if you want I'll post them again or is there a way to attach a video file to these messages? Ok, JJ, Kevin if there are gtvs here in sa with carbon/glas...

Just something I've noticed myself with regards to higher wattage bulbs. My reflectors are a bit corroded and I fitted 100w bulbs to get a bit better light, new headlights for gtvs are almost impossible to find here. Anyway the bulbs lasted much longer in the high beams than the low beams, in fact i...

I've got to agree with Andrew above. It seems the main problem is that JJ is sometimes using the forum for commercial purposes and it is not good that this should cause anyone to feel unwelcome here. I feel that if you wish to sell a product, perhaps use the classifieds section of the site or better...

Nav frame on left doesn't load

Hello This is a problem I had on the old site as well. I'm using netscape 6.2 and the navigation bar to the left just says "loading..." but never loads. It works fine if I use IE at varsity or something but I don't like IE and prefer to use netscape. Everything else like the forum and othe...

Hey there all, took me a while to find the new site. I just came back on saturday from sailing at the vaal. Anyway we parked next to a red 156 at the vaal 1-stop. I was having a look at it and thinking to myself that it just didn't seem totally standard. Eventually I spotted the praggia calipers and...
