Remember too that if you have the vented discs you will want the duct to put the fresh air at the hub , not the outer edge. The vented discs act like a centrifical pump impeller drawing in at the center and out at the outer diameter. That ought to work well for the solid discs as long as there is a ...

Which is the bigger blower the 62 or the 90? Is the blower rpm in the right range? Have you tried fiddling with the pulley sizes to adjust the blower rpm?

The next place to look is in the boot at the top of the tank, find the fill pipe and follow it to the gascap . About mid way along you will find a rubber coupling, check that it hasn't gone bad. Also at the top of the tank is a vent line that probably hasn't been replaced since the car was new. That...
