I ride mate, and I'll tell you that a steering damper is so handy on rippled or pot-holed roads. I can imagine it would be good on a car too, but i never thought about it. The practice is that it's connected on one clip-on (handlebar) and then on the chassis so there is less free movement of the st...

Pancho, Mats said it all when he said "What the hell is a steering damper and why in the world would you want one? " but you didn't get it. I expanded on what he said but you didn't get it. I will say no more. I like parking my car without having to wrestle the wheel every time, and I don...

Have you been messing with the AFM spring ? Sounds like the spring has lost its tension. It's easy to check just remove the air filter and use your finger to see if the flapper has spring tension when you push on it.If it doesn't your about to take a major lesson on AFM calibration. Why? Tens...

I can check the Watts linkage simply by measuring the length of each arm, correct? They should be equal length on a 75, right? If one is bent, will it work to bend the other until they are equal length? My car has rear lowering springs, so the arms are too long anyway. yes yes yes and check where t...

I haven't seen any pic of the swaybar in topic, what I meant was adjusting the fitting of the swaybar, as the mspaint artwork might show.
Swaybar and A-arms in black, stiff setting in red and normal setting in blue.

Re: Bilstein Shocks on lowered 75

Hi guys... Yesterday I was going to install Bilsteins on my TS and I think they are too "tall" for the car since it´s lowered about 4cm (1,5 Inches). I sent them to the mahining shop to make them about 4cm shorter so it can suit the low height I´m running. Have any of you guys done this o...
