Wheel & Tire size change - speedo effects
As some of you might know, I sold my GTV6 but I recall Chip's post about my changing wheel and tire size: << 215/40/17 is about 1% smaller than stock in overall diameter, and 215/45/17 is around 2.5% larger than stock. So with the 40's your speedometer will be 1% fast, and with the 45's it will be 2...

The Balocco seller offered to sell to me for $10.5K before AND after the auction, so something is wrong - maybe the $12.5K buyer backed out, or was a shill bidder. Also there is something wrong with the miles - the seller is a dealer first of all. He could not come up with a reason for why the car w...

Well Prius is a charge in a different way. It is so technologically advanced, and saving the environment and gas at any moment (right there on your digital screen) becomes a satisfaction trip of its own. It is not a speed limited car. My girlfriend hit 100 mph the other day without even realizing it...

Yup these were the posts
http://www.alfagtv6.com/discus/messages/199/3868.html
about most of the modifications I made on my car.
I am picking up the new Prius today. Now my garages will be too full, but the Alfa will stay inside until sold!

Prius
Yup Prius has a lot more to it than just the slow speed and lack of acceleration. :P I have other sports cars and luxury cars. Just not enough room in garage! or driveway. But the Prius does appeal to me for a lot of reasons - and as pointed out it is the most technologically advanced of its class.

GTV6 sale
Well, I am not aggressively marketing the GTV6 for sale, but I do need to sell it. I just don't have room in my garage for the cars...I already have two other classics, not sports, but that need to take up the garage. ![Neutral :-|](./images/smilies/icon_neutral.gif)

re: possibly selling car
Well, I am buying something completely different. A Toyota Prius (hybrid) and I need the money for the down payment. My brother says it is a shame to sell too! I did post about the whole modification process on the old site, look here http://alfagtv6.com/discus/ and do a search of posts by CrYellow....

Selling (thinking) - my modified GTV6
As many of you know (maybe firsthand from helping me :-), I got my GTV6 about two years ago and have modified it. I bought it for $6500. and it was and remains immaculate Exteriro: no rust whatsoever, gleaming bright silver paint, bumpers and modling trim perfect condition and pure black. Interior: ...

Emissions test
I was nervous about the headers too but he did not say anything and neither did I, of course! The place I had the smog done used to be my Alfa mechanic (he closed up and a smog place rented out the space) but I don't think that had anything to do with my passing.

Passing Smog with Headers/Free Flow Exhaust
About a year ago I removed the entire stock exhaust from my GTV6 and installed IAP headers, and a new stainless steel free flow exhaust (center resonator and rear muffler) from Stebro. Performance picked up A LOT. The system sounded VERY loud, and eventually I got a modified exhaust ticket. I got so...

Redirect
If you have no control AT ALL over GTV6.org, then there is nothing you can do. But if the domain name is registered in your name, all you have to do is direct the DNS to point towards the default parked name servers that most companies that register domain names have, and then set up automatic forwa...
