Few questions for spring rate (without torsion bars)
Please advise me on this topic>> Car will be used for occasional track days and it should be driven to track. Can anybody recommend me spring rate and length for front coil over conversion but without torsion bars? I would like to take them out. Feel should be similar to RSR kit (600lb/in) + torsion...

Re: Power steering on 24v, rwd
I've installed 164 PS pump on 24v, tip is to take carrier from AR156V6 steering pump and bolt it on to the left head. Few minor adjustments are required with spacers, but it's pretty straight forward. A bit of grinding is required to make clearance for alternator too. http://s1.postimage.org/lid3map...

Re: Some more brake upgrades for the 116-Barry
I have a set of AZEV 16x7.5" wheels, so I guess there's room for the 305mm discs and GTA calipers. Nobody could fit them without cutting/welding the hub's ears (don't know if that's the right name for it :-S)? I've finished with upgrade. Discs of a Merc needed 6mm spacer to clear the calipers ...

Re: Some more brake upgrades for the 116-Barry
Test fitting of 300mm Mercedes disk with 15'x7' ET:30 (MSW wheels) - I will need about 5mm spacer to clear the calipers from inner ring of wheel. There is a step inside of rim that almost touches caliper. Spokes are not making problems. http://img849.imageshack.us/img849/9861/resizeofdsc03907.th.jpg...

Re: Some more brake upgrades for the 116-Barry
Good point, since I started working on them without checking frontal clearances.. Your calipers are from 305mm GTA? I'm using ones from 166 V6 which are a bit different. I'll do some trial fitting with few wheels and post photos...

Re: Some more brake upgrades for the 116-Barry
Jose_76: I'm doing 300mm conversion and I have Azev 16x7.5' too (ET:30)... I'll inform you about fitting. Regarding "ears" - yes, you'll have to cut them. Just yesterday tried to fit them without cutting, but no way - same thing for 305mm.

Re: Some more brake upgrades for the 116-Barry
Giuliettaevo2: Great stuff!!! :D I've started mine conversion too: 300mm discs - so I can fit all kinds of 15' wheels Ginded used hubs (ar164 or 156) to support normal screws - finally I will get rid of short ones... ID for supporting ring: 71.9 mm and looks like this: http://img815.imageshack.us/i...

Re: Spring Rate to Damper Ratios???
PietereQ: Try following; take them off and while in vertical position and stiffness set to minimum, compress them and stretch out 3 times each (full length). Mount them back, it should help..? Another point; while measuring drop speed try to set equal weight that pulls each damper. -Maybe the best ...

Just to note that Kappa's motronic 3.7 picks up a signal from flywheel and not from crankshaft pulley.

Re: Radiator size dimensions?
Just to resume things and bring some conclusion... I bought replacement cooler for Alfa 75 3.0 12v. First impression is that this thing is way much lighter than original part (new cooler with fan mounted on weighs like dry old radiator). Things are being cooled much faster, when fan kicks in he blow...
