Kev,
If this doesn’t work, Reduce the size of the outlet. Since you have a total of 3 outlets (2 outlet on passenger’s, and 1 on driver’s) shrinking it to 2” at the tip shouldn’t have an impact on power but will have a good reduction in noise level.

Re: OILS ??
A seasoned pair of ears…..wait MD has very seasoned ears…he’s heard a lot of things in his life. Wonder what he has to say about this.
Anyway, I’m gonna get me one of them knock detection devices for my next dyno session…hopefully I will have adjustable cam gears by then….

Re: OILS ??
Getting too involved for someone like me. I think that’s why in OKTechs car he has 6 EGTs at the exhaust flange. That’s beyond club/hobby levels. I have to stick to AFR. But for knock I might be able to do something. What device do you recommend? Phormula? Or Maybe a seasoned ear? Found this video, ...
Re: OILS ??
For EGT, would an EGT per bank be necessary or is one EGT way downstream after the merge be adequate?
Re: OILS ??
AFR about 13.3-13.7 WOT all the way to redline. ign advance around 28 degrees.

Re: OILS ??
I already have a 2.4 TD rad. So I’m going back to basics. 1 pressure wash rad fins 2 chemically flush rad 3 check VDO gauge, could be optimistic 4 check thermostat in hot pot 5 make metal plates to properly direct air to rad core 6 run lower concentration of coolant but more distilled water Other po...
Re: OILS ??
Hey Guys, I’m currently using LubroMoly 10w60 and I find that on a hot (90F) day at the track, my water temp goes to 210F. Oil temp is 220F with an oil cooler, was thinking Of switching back to 20w50 Valvoline VR1 synthetic. It has a viscosity oh 20.9mm2/s @100C, seems perfectly adequate. Do you all...

Re: GTV6 3.2 24V
So it looks like the FWD pickup literally has a corner case. I’d say reduce the number of flaps to just ones first and see if that helps. Otherwise look into adding a sump spacer or OKTech’s CNC’d lower sump like the one used in davide Cironi’s 3.3 project. I think that adds a bit more oil volume (n...

Re: Project 2 : front mount SA GTV 3.0 - Sei diff
MD sometimes has good ideas…. Sometimes……split the exhaust to both sides. I’m guessing the sound meter is on one side only. The tip has to shrink to 2”. Pieter’s mod also works. Either way I’m Pretty sure with these 2 mods you will pass 100db easily.

Re: Alfa GTV 916 2,0 V6 TB bring back to life after 12 years
For these cars, 916, 156, I’m going to move towards more electrical accessories. For example electro-hydraulic PS pump, maybe electric AC compressor and move them into the boot. Although the GTV has a small boot to begin with. The battery is something I’d like to move into the boot too. All I want i...

What starter are you using? It sounds like a non alfa starter. Wondering if it’s a Brise starter

Awesome Pieter! Which cams are these? I’m guessing Catcams, seeing you have cat cam gears. Saw your vids on YouTube, car sounds great!!!
