The person who replaced it for me said in 17 years he's never seen these plates on any other car. Only took him 1 hour to remove the old glass and install the new, he even put some urethan...

Thanks. I thought something like a screw was under the material for the sides, just didnt want to pull everything off to find it. Doesnt this trim need to be removed to install the new windsheild and gasket?

Replacing a GTV6 windshield

My windshield was broken yesterday by a large rock on the highway. Before I have it replaced I would like to remove the interior trim pieces on the left and right sides of the windshield so the shop doing the work wont damage them. Can anyone tell me how they come off?

I have a tube of the Alfa oe sealant in my hand now, its Loctite 510. You are supposed to inject it into the groove for the old cigarette seals, just make sure you dont leave any air bubbles when you do this.

I used the flywheel bolts in the rear of the crankshaft. Leave the bolts loose with about an inch or so proturding and use a long bar wedged between 2 of them and the engine stand to keep everything from moving around.

The rear hoses are at the back of the sunroof opening, all the way in the back corners. They come out at the bottom of the rear fenders, look behind the rear wheels from under the car and you will see a fold in the metal where the outer fender meets the inner fender, this is where the hose should st...

The sunroof doesnt seal to the top of the car, some water will always leak past. If the drain hoses are clogged water can't drain out of the area around the sunroof. Make sure all 4 hoses are clear.
I can see daylight around my sunroof from inside and its never leaked onto the headliner.
