Re: Introduction
Hi Kevin, What Kit are you referring to when you say that we should change it. We have an extra new clutch in the box with pressure plate etc. I was hoping that we don't have to change the clutch since I don't think it is worn out already. Is this what you are suggesting or is it replacing the clutc...

GregoryV,
Too Bad I missed you. Was able to get the Alfa to go on the Tow truck on it 's own. It should be an easy fix. The Alfa is right at home on the Trailer. It is so challanging to have an Alfa

Re: Introduction
The Alfa GTV6 Project probally has less than 700 miles on it but we are going to Tow it to the warehouse to trouble shoot the clutch and take care of the other break in issues. They are the small oil leak in the front, remove and re-coat the rear calipers so they are not rusting, remove the exhaust ...

Re: Introduction
After the trip to Monterey we parked the Alfa for the winter. We pulled it out this summer and we used it for a couple of events. We finally had a chance to really drive the Alfa and we went with the Alfa Club in SF on Ruthann's River Road Tour. We drove for over 300 miles and it was a blast. This w...

Re: Pricing for Alfetta Race Car.
Hi Zamani, Thanks for your post. I'll let you know if we get it. The PPI is actually tommorrow. I misread my calandar. Cool Video that 147. I thought this board preferred rear wheel drive cars over the front wheel? Anyway, importing a 147 is not in my plan. I don't think this Alfa has any historial ...

Re: Pricing for Alfetta Race Car.
Thanks for the comments. Hopefully everything will work out but you never know. Going to bring my associates to check it out next week. We are trying to figure out what the price would be right now. No books like Kelly Blue book, etc. I don't even think it has a standard frame. What does the forum t...

Pricing for Alfetta Race Car.
Hello GTV6 Forum, Ok, I know its not a V6 but acording to the seller it is Legal for the Club events SCCA, but not CSRG. I was wondering what the forum thinks, in terms of price, problems, etc. It has a clean title, molds for the body parts, Log Book, spare parts, etc. Here are some pictures of the ...

Re: Max HP for Transaxle
As mentionedon earlier previous threads, its not only the HP but more important is the torque factor, the weakest link in the transaxle is the crownwheel and pinion as testimony by our racing experiences here and also with Dawie in Sth Africa. The3.7 racing here uses an imported US transaxle but th...

Max HP for Transaxle
We have been looking at engine upgrades from the stock 2.5L 12V. It looks like there are lots of ways to increase your HP. However, it looks like the weak point of the GTV6 is the transaxle. I know there are these 3.7L 24V 425 Hp out there but I have yet to see one in real life. The ones that I foll...

Re: JK's v6 book
We would have already bought this and even if it does not have the 24V info yet, we are sure it still packed with good stuff.
