Bruce, assuming your advance curve and feulling is correct I personally would not go over6000 rpm unless I knew the engine was balanced properly and had relatviely new cam belts. My 1984 GTV3.0l used to rev smoothly up to 7000rpm with mild cams(Dawies group 1 spec) as the motor was balanced properly...

Some good pics there Jacques, also e few scary people in them ! Jose 2.0l lightweight was really flying as he could pass me no problem down the straight. Would be interesting to know what power that motor pushes as I have +_ 193kw(motor) and weigh in at 1300kgs'. His car weighs a little over 740kg's...

Some of the very few GTV3.0L that are left of the 212 that were made in the Alfa Romeo factory in the mid eighties. Its estimated they are only sixty examples still around. Most were used for racing and others written off. Only know of seven that are in concours condition.
