Re: Great Vid on GTV6 racing
Great video. Crops up on my playlist from time to time. That's back in the good old days when Australian racing was more than just Holden (GM) vs. Ford. Mind you, now days the vehicles are identical underneath anyway. I know of at least one of those cars being purchased by a mechanic who installed a...

Very impressive! Did you get to talk to the owner about the gearbox? I'd love to know how his is still intact...

Re: Fuel system not self priming?
I know this isn't exactly helping you, but the same thing happened to me with a 90 I picked up for parts a month or so ago. This was also after a fuel filter change. Seems to have been intermittent, as all we did was check and fix somewhat loose connections etc. It still wouldn't prime of its own ac...

Re: 75 track car
I know Vin at PACE normally has torsion bars on the shelf for the 116 chassis (both early and late derivatives) so a quick call to him could prove helpful. Randall Perkins automotive are apparantly brilliant and supply anything you could ever need. Randall Perkins Auto Repairs Unit 5/195 Prospect Hw...
Re: SZ in Oz
I'll have to ask him next time he appears at a club meet. If that ever happens... I'll try and take some proper photos if I get a chance. Japan got more than 100 out of the 1036 made, apparantly; So it's highly possible. So far its the only one I've heard of in the country. Feel free to correct me o...
Re: SZ in Oz
Cheers for the reply, Jules. I did some snooping and got a hold of the owner's name, turns out he is a mate of my dad and a long time addict (Six 75s, a GTV6 or two and now an SZ). Only arrived in the state yesterday and is on a Victorian import permit of some kind, I'm a little sketchy on the detai...
SZ in Oz
I was driving along down here in Tasmania, minding my own business (pretty much all you can do here) and stumbled across an SZ  . Left hand drive, so it's obviously an import... In fact I'm not sure they were even sold here? I was stupid enough not to catch the plates, so I'm not sure where i...

I agree. I'd like to see him work his way round and Alfa gearbox... Mind you that might be more painful than funny.
Fixed you say? Really?

Re: I love this track..Great in car footage.
Murphy's lap is still the fastest ever on the track. Set in 2003, he was more than 1 sec. faster than his nearest rival. Hell of a driver.

Re: I love this track..Great in car footage.
Wow, fabulous video! The track is amazing. Is it where the Bathurst 1000km was held in days of yore? The elevation changes were spectacular, but they end up giving you no run-off room and lots of walls. Are the walls yellow in the downhill section 'cause that's where you'll piss yourself? Also, do ...

That was cold, man... 8) Let me know when you decide to join us, I'll try and organise a group of us for a cruise somewhere. If you haven't been to Tassie before, it'd be a good time to check out the East coast and a few of the things it has to offer. I'll try and take a few shots of Targa in a few ...

Re: Alfa Romeo Spyder Pininfarina 2uettottanta
Pardon my ignorance, but isn't the 2010 spider the 'convertible Brera' looking one? Or are they calling that a Brera Spider?
