Hahah the wicked black witch is back!!! You all thought he would be back... I wasnt too sure! Perhaps you guys dont know what can happen when people start getting into Aussie/Yank iron. It's a really weird phenomena where people expect all of their torque to be off idle, and the rpm to drop off afte...

So Micke, for a street car like mine, with 105 castor rods, and bilsteins, as opposed to coilovers, would you recommend going with the upside down route, or knuckle risers?

PACE sell the knuckle risers for $250 AUD, so not too expensive for a straight fit, with no other mods.

Streetfame. Get a blower, and do yourself some mods in the right spots, and at 7 psi, you will have smooth torque for 3/4 of the rpm range, and top end that serious cams and big RPM (that costs reasonable in terms of rod work and balancing) give you. Once that thing is set up, and you're used to the...

Yeah Matt- looks like you've got the Serck 16 row oil cooler like I have on my car. Cools it plenty- never have issues with it- I only have the factory presure gauge to go by, but in contrast, my mechanic had a series 5 Turbo RX7 cooler on his Alfetta with my engine, and said that it cooled the oil ...

Haha thanks Lucas!

The only reason I have the mods is I didnt pay for the engine to get built first time around- I bought one someone else had already done the hard yards on!

Streetfame... let us know how the build goes

Lucas- you should prob. start your own topic, but from what I understand, get a 3.0 crank, and use 2.5 pistons and rods. ends up being a 2.8 with around 10.5:1 comp. clean your heads up, aftermarket computer and exhaust and Im sure 200hp would be an there with strong torque. Mine makes 250hp or ther...

Damn Z...it's hard to take anything you say seriously with that Austin Powers piccie.....! But yeah, getting a 24v helps! But Streetfame... blowing headgaskets is what happens when an idiot force induces a motor... Greg's budget blower setup has all the makings of a monster you can drive.... for exa...

You have a long and expensive road ahead of you... Welcome to the club!! You wont get too far if you only run 94 octane. You wont be able to rev the engine with any meaningful ignition advance, because the octane wont support the combustion. So, by doing that, you're limiting your ability to r...

Well maybe they will have to do a proper Gran Turismo Allegerito version of this car, and build something to give the M3 and M3 CSL some proper rivalling. Ive yet to read any aussie comments on it, but they all loved the 147 GTA out here, except its turning circle. Perhaps this is a move to a more &...
