Re: Build pics of my alfa gtv6, its finished! Updated pics-28-07
Congratulations Garth it looks great. Lets hope it runs as it looks. I wanna read some stories about that GTV6 kicking butt to modern sport cars soon. Only detail I would change is the wheels. I would keep them in black but a more 80s styled wheel.

Re: Does Anyone still Love driving their GTV6 ?
Mats have in mind I have stock suspension and it has the original springs, front and rear, and original shocks at the back, the front ones were replaced about 70.000km ago. It is very loose at the back on high speed turns, very dangerous and fun :D My GTV6 is in really bad shape mechanicaly speaking...

Re: Does Anyone still Love driving their GTV6 ?
Last Saturday night I was cruising in the GTV6 with my girlfrind when a black 360 Modena and a black S4 V8 apeared in front of me. It was 11:30pm and we were in a wide avenue. So the Audi leaded, then the F360 and me followed. We managed to get reed of the traffic and found our selves at front row i...

I know the mechanic that build this motor back in 1988. He is Italian and in those times he traveled to Italy very often, he brought some Autodelta parts including the cams to modifie this GTV6 for its previous owner. When my father bought it I was 11 years old so didnt know much about it except tha...

The spec of the motor I dont really know since my father bought it in 1992 and it was already modified with the autodelta cams. Before it started losing power it keeped up with 328i Bimmers without problems and beated some stock 150hp Golf GTIs and 150hp Megane Coupes among others. I live in Buenos ...

Best managment system for autodelta cams
I have an euro GTV6 with autodelta cams. It has 150.000km and needs new piston rings. The stock Bosh system isnt working to well, I want to replace it with something like a Motec for example. I want the car to be tuned the closest to perfection and extract every hp posible. I thought about carburato...

I think the best way to get the sound right is to get some one to weld for you, buy diferent diameters of tubes and test each of them with a muffler at the back. Live the exaust manifolds stock and play with the midle and rear section till you get it right. I think that spending $us 2.000 in a exaus...

Apart from tastes in design, engine, chasis, electronics, etc. that each person has there are things that a marque like Ferrari shouldnt do. Thats building a car using exactly the same platform, including the engine and gearbox, than a lower category car. Thats why I would never buy an Audi for exam...

I loved the 550 Maranello since the first time I saw it, but the 599 not. That big, round ass it has and that wierd roof prolongation or what ever it is i dont like. Trying make the 360 Modena´s tail look as an Enzo´s tail in the F430 also is ugly. The 612 is all around ugly with that 50s Corvette s...

2010 Ferrari California GT
What the hell is Ferrari thinking! Their marque is losing exclusivness. Intead of bringing back the Dino, as an Exige/Cayman S killer with a mid mounted 3.0 V8 with a 9000 rpm redline and lightweight body/chasis, they are building a car that is to the Maserati GranTurismo/Afla 8C what the Pontiac Fi...

Too much rubber at the back maybe. My GTV6 understeers and has stock suspension and 205/55vr15 all around. You have to powerslide with this car to prevent understeer, specialy in slow corners. I dont know how much power your GTV6 has but with 225 at the back you better have close to 300hp. Try 205/5...

Toyo tires
Does anyone used Toyo tires in your cars? Here in my country they cost half the prize of any other top tire marque. Are this good tires or not?

Here in Buenos Aires they are trying to control traffic but they cant. Police force is too corrupt and there is a lot of insecurity everywhere. The bad thing is that we have the world record of deaths in traffic accidents. Driving here is a total madness. Driving to work every day is a mix of a nasc...
