Re: NEW Supercharging Book, Ebook version, low price!

Greg, I finished reading the new book, I must say it's much more improved, very well written with enough technical details where needed and very straight forward on the items that needed to be so, like choosing a supercharger, noise, intercooling and water/methanol injection, you definetely got me g...

Re: NEW Supercharging Book, Ebook version, low price!

Oh I see, i'll manage to get something done in Uruguay no worries. Garuda is actually a really good airline to travel by, i'm based in Sumatra, Medan to be precise, quite close to Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. I like your airline's colour scheme, in 2008 I was upgrading to the 76 but my old company in...

Re: NEW Supercharging Book, Ebook version, low price!

Yeah, I went to all the charts and the choice is clear, but the cost difference at this point is a bit steep (about usd 2500 for a sprintex vs between usd 300 and usd 400 for the eaton on ebay), I got some cams from Richard Jemison and 36 lb/hr injectors preparing for the upgrade, I just can't reall...

Re: NEW Supercharging Book, Ebook version, low price!

Got it yesterday Greg, as usual, makes a great read at FL370 on Indonesian skies! By the way, do you still make pulleys and supports for the supercharger kits? for the V6 that is, i'm going to go the cheap route and get an M90 and then upgrade later on to a sprintex 335. Great read as usual and a lo...

Re: Uruguayan Giulie

Well, it's finally running, sadly, i'm living on the other side of the world (with Uruguay as a reference point) so I couldn't enjoy it as of yet. My friend and mechanic took her to a track day last saturday, with only a dyno break in and a pretty good map for the megasquirt. He reported the handlin...

Re: My rebuild!

Beautiful! Jules, I got to drive her yeah, just a few blocks to the petrol station, it had an issue with the rear brakes, so braking wasn't very good, spend a little time refining the Megasquirt map, it's ok, but needs more maping specially for cold start, also the VR6 coil is useless so i'm using t...

Re: 30mm or 27mm torsion bars?

I have 27mm bars with koni yellows in my giulietta, it's great for the street and the occasional trackday, add a thicker roll bar and you are set for the track too.

30mm are too stiff I think.

Re: Finally my Giulietta from Uruguay

Well, the blue car in the pictures is turned now into a race car, well, on it's way to, now it has an RS suspension kit, FIA regualtion roll cage and 1.6 gearbox with limited slip diff from a 75 TS. It's waiting for rust repairs and a new paint job (the one it got 6 years ago was quite a bad paint j...
