My software came up with 1.303" dia and 26" long. Has anyone found the smaller primaries to be restrictive?

I also saw somewhere where Greg Gordon had a 2.5 balanced to 51% with no vibration issues. Just for further confirmation, after I had mine balanced I talked to another more experienced machinist who told me that virtually all V6 and V8 engines, even wierd ones like a VW VR6 are balanced to 50%-51%. ...

kterkkila, 60% blance factor is suprisingly high. High balance factor is good for high rpm but too high may cause vibration at low rpm. But if in doubt I wouldn't change anything if it was running vibration free in the first place. My 3.0 12V was also balanced to 47% but hasn't run yet. My memory is...
