solved
164 pumps work at 100bar, rack needs more, 75pump works at 130bar, so i had to replace the pump

for anyone interested, the steeringpump of an later model alfa(164) doesn't work well with an steeringrack of the 75, it cooks the oil and after a while the seals blow. turns out the workingpressure of the 164pump is 100bar, that of a 75 is 130bar! i have changed to a 75 unit at the cost of a consid...

i've used aluminium rods wich are treadcut (?) on the ends. all is easely removed. actually , i did it before on the gtv turbo, it realy helps stiffening up. i still want to brace the frontbeam on wich the swaybar is mounted

the white rims aren't bad, but they are used quite commonly and weigh a ton, the speedline mistrals are 3pce, realy light and very rare...........and i like them better

hi guys, i'm using a steeringpump from a 164 in combination with a rack from a 75 now i have blown up nr3 pump due to heat build up in the oil, i'm fed up with it does anybody know what the source of the problem could be? i have installed an extra coolingspiral, so it has two, nevertheless after 15m...

horns can be obtained in hi-fi shops wich specialize in diy speakers, bass horns (just a thought) although they don't have the injector hole
