The nice thing about coil packs is the quality of the spark. Even a good distributor setup struggels to produce the amount of spark that coil packs or coil per cylinder can generate. This is a must on turbo or charged vehicles. :wink:

Hi SamW Yes you can use a universal six pack coil pack with the Gotech Pro. I'm not too familiar with the afla engines, but if the engine has got a 60 -2 input then it should be ok. The tach output from the ecu is directly related to the input signal. To check the accuracy of the tach output you can use a ossiloscope to check the input signal and the tach signal. I'm sure that you will find these signals to be the same.

You can use the optional output to switch the fuel pump. Just remember that the fuel pump output is negative switching and that a relay should be used.
