Re: 75 Upgrade
If you need runners, I got a set from Beninca. Also a Siamese twin GTV6 plenum to mate with the runners.

Re: Larger oil cooler
Well Sociu from what JK has said the factory build itself COULD be suspect as far as bearing clearance goes. Might be ok for a street engine, but won't last very long as a race engine. Who knows...maybe you have an engine with a very tight bearing clearance, within spec, but on the tight side. I'm n...

Re: Larger oil cooler
I believe his engine is standard, so factory clearances. Are you saying it also depends on which on the factory allowed spectrum his bearing clearances are? If only the tighter end, temp increase will be significant? Usually for me if plastigage says it’s within spec, I slap it on and go. I won’t bo...

Re: 24V headers
He gave me an option for the headers, regular stainless or a superleggera version. Then I found out that superleggera was light weight plastic in his books. ... he was willing to ship it to me for free too. Sounded fishy! Wily dude!

Re: 75 Twin Spark Engine Head Removal Tool
Love it! Very ingenious. But I'm guessing the bolts have to all be turned slowly and equally.
I think JK would be really proud of you and send you a friend request on Facebook.

Re: Larger oil cooler
What about air flow? I’m just afraid a bigger cooler may mean lower oil pressure. If you get rid of the CF3 catted headers and vent the hood, the could solve engine bay heat. Then a repositioned oil cooler, in front of the radiatior would ensure the airflow is good. MD, any chance polish gherkins mi...

Re: SA GTV6 2.5 restoration and few minor mods !
Well for under dash work I hope you took out the seat and laid a nice mattress. That’s how always do it. Like the one of the master cylinders in the LHD 164, definitely requires a mattress and the seat taken out. I agree with MD, I used a valve on the engine side for my Milano for the heater. Althou...

Re: Son of Cab a FWD racer?
Yeah the GT sits high, any higher and the driver would have to wear an oxygen mask. But still pretty damn impressive. I think he is bounded by rules to keep a minimum weight to be in his class, pretty sure if he can lose more weight he would pass the GTV6s. Which reminds me, in November, I get to te...
