Hi,
Does anyone know if the RS suspension kits (Adjustable Coil overs and dampers) are still available? I had some correspondence with John Moffat at RSR but haven't heard anything from him lately.

That's a great find. Good to see it being in very original condition. How did you managed to locate such a nice car from the UK? Congratulations

Re: My favourite Alfa from the 2-day Alfa Romeo race weekend..
Kevin,
The IGNIS GTV6 is owned by Hugh Harrison of Monza Motors in Melbourne. It's a great looking car and I think Hugh has put it back to original specs as when it was racing in the 80's. Last I heard, it was up for sale

I think the first car was the 1931/32 Alfa Romeo Tipo B (P3) owned by Peter Giddings.

Re: Woohoo- and - Boohoo!
Yeah the 75's are still a nice car to drive. Recently got a new E90 M3 4.0 v8 and that should have been the car alfa should have built. Great engine and loads of fun. Haven't really run in the engine yet but 8400 rpm is where the redline is. Was a toss up between the C63 and M3 but got a better deal...

Re: Please id these rims...
I think these are Simmons wheels; B45 style rims.... Unfortunately, they are no longer in business due to the retirement of the owner in June 09.

Re: Can anyone ID these rims?
Terafrost, I think those are Compomotive rims. They were used on a couple of promotion GTV6's when they came out in Australia. I believe the cars were called Andalusia and were painted white, including the Momo interior. If I am not mistaken, they were 15 x 7 Compomotive split rims. The one in the p...

Re: Rebuilding the heads....quick question
Just a curious question. When removing the heads from a RHD GTV6 2.5 , is it mandatory to remove the brake booster? I was told that it could be a clearance issue with the left hand head. Anyone who has done this care to share some info?
Thanks in advance

Re: Original gtv six 3.0 compomotive wheels
Hey John, Haven't heard from you for sometime now. Did you get another SA GTV6? When I bought the engine from Glenwood, it was all arranged at their end so not quite sure which company they used. The boys (Kim, Stephen , Esperan etc are planning on getting together soon. BTW, I am getting some parts...

Re: Original gtv six 3.0 compomotive wheels
How light are these compomotive wheels? They look quite nice. If Kevin's friend doesn't take them, I could be interested but shipping to Oz might be a problem

Re: Exhaust Leak
The 24v headers are different to the 12v motors - they are oval and not round. I had a similiar problem with my headers when I got my motor from Glenwood. The intermediate flange was not sitting flushed and we had to remove the headers and send them to a machine shop to rectify. No problems so far -...

Re: A75 1.8T engine, complete.
Hey Duk, It's a nightmarish saga to say the least. Not only is costs prohibitive but as Jim mentioned, some of these wankers don't want to ship a used engine due to possible combustible fumes in it. So unless you are willing to pay shipping costs that's more than what these engines are worth, it's a...
