Good tip, Mats. But where do you get these J-style boots? Are they Alfa items?

I couldn't care less if they fit at wheelside  The reason I would want to use the boot is that the originals can't handle the heat from the brakes on my racecar. I'm replacing boots very often while the cv's are fine (high temp graphite grease).

Well, it's interesting for all of us. But what do you mean with the boots are too square?

I won't be there the 13th, but planning to join for some chatting and diner on the 12th. I owe you a schnitzel, Jim! Maybe I'll take the GTV for a spin on the Ring for some real tourist driving. It's been way too long since I've been there to floor it.

For on-track adjustment I prefer the lever-type instead of a knob. Takes less attention to put it into the desired setting while your driving and easy to spot if the setting you want is off. It is less accurate due to the 7 settings you can choose, but does the trick!!

But how many liters does it pump? I need playroom, not to be at the max when I start. And I rather pump more than required just to be safe.

Do you know how much the std injectors flow?

Is there a rule of thumb to calculate injector size and the capacity for the fuel pump?

I've bought them used....... They're of the "230 hp TS" which is going to use slide throttles.
A set of slightly used 45mm Jenveys go for around 500-600 euros on motors.ebay.co.uk.

Mats, I guess that's why they operate on the dutch market and not the english or american

Dennis, Did you send your car to Hurricane Racing ? :) These guys have both chassis and engine dyno. I imagine that you would have to sacrifice a few arms to have this shop work on your engine. BTW I was on an E30 M3 forum and one guy there said he build TS motors for the Trofeo cup you guys have i...

I tell you what: find one of your guys there who builds them 240hp engines and ask them how much they want to build you one!! Hell, I wouldn't know how to count that high with an 8v TS! BUT, you would only pay after seeing them horses on the dyno!!! That's the arrangement I would make! Pay a down p...
