Hood Added and other progress
Made a trip down to the O.C. to deliver the hood to Historic Race Engineering and see how things were coming along. Making good progress, even though the car is now six months over the completion date. As you can see from the snaps much modifications have been done and next week we'll fire up the mo...

Callaway Hood Images
Nearing the end of the journey. Engine in and running, transax rebuilt and installed, new brakes, rims and tyres installed, just buttoning up all the little bits. Picked up the custom hood scoop and installed on hood. I am quite keen on it. It is not near as gross as the original and hope it looks n...

Interior image
Here is a snap I took last fall. The dash is all alcantera, dark burgundy. The flash washes out the colour. At this time I still had the original seats in.
Best wishes,

Dynomat (correction)
Hello mate. I dynomated the entire interior and under the hood of my Alfa. It weighs next to nothing, just a rubbrizd compound and a thin veneer of batting which also deflects heat. It has a nice self adhesive on it and is very easy to work with. I highly recommend it to improve insulation, reduce r...

"Run Like Hell" by The Pink Floyd...
...possibly the best driving tune ever. Sounds like a dream run in an Alfa. Thankyou for the comments, I am pleased with how the valve covers and intercooler came out. I located an aftermarket hood scoop which is rather nice and a bit wider. It also has a billet grill over the inflow. The brake boos...

Nice leather...
...now we're talking...red pips that is going to be an exquisite finish. I love everything you've done but I had those stickers on my Alfa when I bought it and they, in my humble opinion, cheapen what is an absolutely top notch, top notch restoration you have done. There are very nice Alfa racing tr...

Would be great
Always nice to meet fellow GTV6 owners. How is the interior coming along, bet it'll be great. Do you have an idea how soon your Alfa will be back on the road. Unfortunately I am still looking at mid-May for mine and then I have to have the stereo head unit re-installed as it looks like it was remove...

Exhaust system
Hello mate, how is the red devil coming along? The exhaust is on the "will be done" as in "has not be done yet" list. Gregg is essentially copying what he did with Martin de Campo's Callaway exhaust system. I originally wished to go with a Stebro system but when Gregg told me how...

Callaway motor instillation
A small update. Now less than two months from completion of the Callaway. Gregg Armstrong showed me how things are coming along and I also brought in a few new parts. I finally found a replacement NOOS hood pull trigger. Mine still worked however the attachment for the fuse box was broken. Apparentl...

They are 17"...
...rims. They do not rub anywhere. I copied what Charlie DeMarco of Serpent has long had on his GTV6 and he never had an issue with wheel rub from the tyre size either.
Hope that helps.

Rims
Yes those are. And they are for sale too. They have zero miles on them, and include the brand new tyres also with zero miles on them. $1000 for the entire package, cost me $1,664 USD last July and since then the car has not moved. I am putting my original choice of rims on the car..HRE's just origin...

GTV6 heading to the O.C for the Callaway Motor
Hi. Finally after a long wait my '86 headed down to Historic Race Engineering in Orange County, CA to have Greg Armstrong install the Twin-Turbo Callaway motor and the Milano-Verde transaxel with lightened gears. Greg is rebuilding the Callaway motor in total including forged pistons and gold cladin...
