That is the better sounding 24v I ever heard.
I made a big mistake using larger diameter exaust tubes in terms of sound. And in terms of power does anybody know if changing the diameter of the exaust tubes changes the horsepower figures?

Hi Bruno, what kind of exaust are you using on that 3L? It sounds really good. I have a GTV6 2.5 that used to sound very good until I changed the exaust. My mechanic told me to use a larger diameter exaust tubes, and now the sound is more like a low reving big motor instead of high reving screaming ...

Thanks Julian. You have the modifications I always wanted but is to expensive. I hope you can keep using that engine because nothing sounds like an alfa 2.5 V6 at over 7000rpm.

Thanks very much for the info Kevin. Probably the cheapest way of getting 250hp is supercharging or a single turbocharger setup on the 12v 2.5 motor. The only problem is that a forced inducted 12v 2.5 wont be as reliable as a stock 24v 3.2.
