MFI TPS install questions?

I bought a Porsche 944 TPS ( Bosch part number 0 280 120 308 )because that was the part recommended. It is also a three wire TPS. On the MFI there are three wires for the TPS - orange +5v, a brown stripped ground, and blue stripped signal. This TPS has the same markings as the old on 2, 18, 3. We co...

GoTech reading accuracy

As a new GoTech user I want to check with others, but how accurate are the reading from the GoTech? The reason I ask is that for example the coolant temp on the GoTech shows around 104-117 C, while the engine temp sensor shows 80 C. They are both reading from the same place on the thermostat housing...

Here is a Data Logging question? Is there any way except running the Dealer Tune software to view the saved data logging data? It would be nice to log several different data log sessions and throw them into excel and compare the differences in curves. The data logging function is very powerful, but ...

Sharing GoTech Maps.

Would it be possible for everyone to list what Alfa you have a GoTech on and what modifications you have done. This way new GoTech users could get an idea of what's out there and possibly have a resource for starting maps. Just and idea, what do you think?

How do you turn on and off all ranges? I also think that a dyno is a must to properly tune on of these systems. I just wonder if the wide band setup helps lessen your dyno time then it was money well spent. I have one car running a MFI right now, and will have two others running a PRO versions in th...

The wiring harness already had split the injectors as you had mentioned and we are running the TP100. Checked the jumper and everything is good to go. Thanks for your help.

I second the run the software with the ECU connected. It would nice to look at the map and make changes without the connection or having the ECU on.

Also more detailed instructions about navigating the software would be helpful.

What exactly does Autotune do and how powerful a tool is it?

After playing with it yesterday, the car is still running rich at idle and then leans out over 3.5k. What is the best way lean the car out at low speed? Any recommendations for an affordable wide band O2 system? A friend was recommending a EGT system and then tune so that you have the EGT at around ...

Yes, I think we are talking about the same numbers. Because of the extremely lean condition starting around 3.5 - 4 k , we have not run the car fast enough to see the full advance curve. Your map was actually very good from idle to around 3.5-4k. The car starts right up and idles around 900-950 - th...

Just in case someone searches the forum for answers, the TP100 that John shipped allowed the sue of low impendance injectors with the MFI version of GoTech. Wired it up as described by John or found in the last page of the manual. Used on pins 1,2,4, & 6. Check John's post for more info.

Differences in DealerTune Version 4 and Version 5

The software on the CD's with my MFI and Pro's was version 4. I saw the update on the website for version 5. V5 has data logging - looks like a powerful tool. Also v5 had something called autotune? Anybody successfully used the autotune functionality? What are its benefits? Am I missing other new fe...

The first map dated mid May 05 worked best. The car is using blue printed and balanced stock 3.0 injectors. We only have a short amount of time running the car, but it appears that above 4k there is not enough fuel. We are not running a TPS yet, so we hope this will allow us to adjust the elevation ...

Finally completed a Go Tech MFI installation and now it runs :D :D :D . the install was on a 84 GTV6 with 3.0 w/ S cams and headers. It took many calls to JJ for tech support and we had to try several different maps, but the GTV6 made its maiden voyage of 12 miles (from the customers house to the sh...
