Re: World Cup 2010

Uruguay played well! 10 vs 11 and France couldn't do much your team basically played excellent defense.

I hope the limeys win! Go England!!!!

I can tolerate the occasional air horns, but some of the games had constant trumpet sounds blaring!

Re: hello from Italy.. where born alfa romeo...

Are there lots of 3.0 V6s in Italy? I heard that it's quite rare to find any there, especially the 75 3.0 and GTV6 3.0 (transplanted ones). How is the Alfa tuning scene there in Italy? In my parent's hometown in Malaysia there are 2 Glenwood cars (GTV6 TT and Giulie 3.5 24V), a GTV6 3.0 24v and my d...

Re: Upgrading a 3.0L 24V

If you want more HP but not go nuts, I would recommend: 1-Shaving the heads a wee bit to get the compression up to 11:1 2-Change the cams to something else (newman, or catcams) Those 2 mods should see gain you 20 wheel hp. That should be plenty. The GTV6 isn't that heavy, and at that power levels, a...

Re: New V6 3liter 12v pistons.

Mats,

If you sent in a stock 2L one, does that mean you have pistons which will result in 9:1 static CR?

Re: Mats Strandberg (SWE)

Well at least make use of the DTA, if not you'll gradually lose interest and sell the things. BTW, does your 155 have lowered springs? I thought mine was a sports ('96 widebody), but the wheel gap (top of tire and bottom of fender lip) at the front with the pepperpot (fake SZ type 15" wheels) w...

I read about the bill being table, but never heard anything about a change in frequency of smogging. I smogged my car about 2 months ago.

The E90 is a very nice car. Looks a little malformed from the front, but overall looks ok. Handling is great.

They charge about $100 here for 3 pulls. One shop doesn't even have a fan and still charges about the same.

You guys reckon the SP can put on its brakes and go full throttle to build up thrust and then let go? That was how the early 737-100/200 (the one with the long engine) took off from the runway in my hometown. By the time we got to the 737-300 this was no longer an issue. DC-10s, tristars, 747-200s, ...

It will be an oversized item and you will be charged a little extra I think. Actually I've seen people bring back a big huge cello ( a big viola). The bumpers are light though, tell them to cut you some slack.
