Wrecking Alfa 75 Melbourne

I'm wrecking an Alfa 75 V6. No motor or gearbox, but most other parts are there, including interior trim pieces (seats are stuffed). All panels straight and rustfree with extremely presentable red paint (probably Rosso). Most suspension parts and electrics. I'm more interested in seeing this stuff u...

I thought the 2 things further up the tank were the fuel filler caps.

Cool movie!

A friend of mine is a 3DS max gun and tried teaching me how to use it. I forgot some of the steps, and got really frustrated so I gave up. Nice work. I can imagine how many hours of modelling, rendering and refining you've done.

Look forward to the sequel.

I'm assuming this is a V6? I just pulled the compressor off my 75 V6. I didn't pull the cam belt covers off or the radiator hoses, just the airbox and AFM. It's really hard to get at the bolts that hold the compressor in the frame, so I took the frame and compressor out as a unit. You need to undo: ...

I remember reading your original posts. Yeah, best laid plans... I can't believe how this projects evolved. I know what you mean about driving it. Dad and I spent 8 months building two cars into one. Before that I'd only spent 4 or so hours behind the wheel. In the end I was just about tearing my ha...

Fantastic thread, cchan. Have you decided what wheels you will be using yet? What about some original campagnolos painted charcoal with a polished lip? or maybe black with polished lip? All black or all charcoal isn't enough contrast IMO. Or what about some 3 piece Compomotives? or Simmons? So many ...

I think I remember reading that the centre pivot(on the De dion) should be vertical at static ride height. So I guess you could park your car on flat ground, take off the links, rotate the centre pivot so that it's vertical and then measure.

In the picture of the new suspension parts, are the spacers up the back in the middle steering wheel spacers? Will you use both of them? Awesome project, I wish I had the money to afford all this stuff. I like the black wheels, but maybe a polished lip and some chrome/stainless nuts would help lift ...

I don't really know how much Simmons wheels are but I would guess AUD800 (450eur) each. Don't quote me though. They aren't light either, the 15X7 simmons B45s I just repainted weighed 7.8 kg. There is an almost identical thread to this of the BB: http://www.alfabb.com/bb/forums/showthread.php?t=3364...
