Here is a bad quality clip of my GTV6 going uphill in the street. With good speakers you can hear the sound.

Other problem today is that Alfa aint the Alfa it used to be. Back in the days they had racing technology aplied on street cars. Alfa were special cars built using the experience gained on the track. But we cant ask to much.

Re: Build pics of my alfa gtv6-Thread officially closed! All done
Maserati are Ferraris today. That is great for Maserati but both marques are very expensive. Lambos are getting better every day thanks to VW and are super expensive. The 8C its a expensive special edition and a Maserati dressed as an Alfa. There are no GTs, sedans, sportcars, etc. from Alfa, Lancia...

Re: Build pics of my alfa gtv6-Thread officially closed! All done
Many car makers werent going to survive the 80s. But when you see how VW managed Audi and how Fiat managed Alfa, mmmmmm Those Fiat managers from the early 90s got it all wrong. They could not only not destroying Alfa but improving Fiat too. But that´s history, today almost every sport car in the str...

Re: Build pics of my alfa gtv6-Thread officially closed! All done
Its a GM engine, used in Holdens, Cadillacs, Opels, Chevys, etc. and Alfa. Thats it today you cant build from nothing a brand new motor for 2 or 3 models that their are not even sold in every Continent. Look at VW, what its doing with Seat, Skoda, Audi, Porsche and Lambo. I heard rumors that even th...

Re: Build pics of my alfa gtv6-Thread officially closed! All done
That V6 is 99% Chevy and 1% Alfa. As Porsches Cayenne´s V6 its a VW motor and their V8s are Audi motors. Alfa has no money to develop new motors.

Re: Koni shocks and springs
Thanks all of you,
I think that I wil try first using Bistein shocks and springs without changing anything else.
I entered Bilstein´s website and found shocks for our cars but not springs. Are they selling springs for GTV6? or their shocks go with std GTV6 springs?

Koni shocks and springs
I want to use Koni sport shocks and springs for my GTV6. It is an European 84 model. Do I need any accesories to install them or they just bolt on as the original? Should I modifie any other part of the suspencion to use this setup? I want a street car with improved handling and high speed stability...

Re: Does Anyone still Love driving their GTV6 ?
There´s no doubt about the greatness of GTVs. I dont know any other cars from the 80s that attract so much atention in the streets today without going into supercar territory, Ferraris, porsches, etc. But I´m getting to a point of accepting that my GTV6 with its 12v 2.5 is no longer a fast car in th...

Re: Does Anyone still Love driving their GTV6 ?
This is a non-Alfa experience but that really impresed me. Last night I was driving my father´s 04 Corolla XEi in the highway at about 3:30 a.m. when a Mini S passed me. I was doing about 150km/h and as it passed me by I floored it in 5th gear, without downshifting. When I reached 200km/h the Mini s...
