The v6 engine is older then the TS ( the productioncar engine that is..) so converting it would be costly i guess. there probably is not enough room in the heads to place two spark plugs per cilinder. remember there are some pushrods and rockerarms and stuff in there also. the Nord engine has two ca...

is that an easy operation? i have a GTV6 pulley somewhere, will search it tromorrow and compare the two.

The problem is there is no room to mill off some metal (to create a good firm holding point for the other pulley) without milling away some of the balanceweight.

Greg, is there a 3.0 pulley with a 60-2 toothed ring which i can use to place an extra pulley on for a supercharger?

The 164 v6 item is not really suitable in my eyes...

this will work... just put the return line also on the aux. tank. and use more then one pickup-point on the original tank, preferably on both sides of the tank. larger diameter hose really helps here. Used that setup on the Opel Kadett C Caravan with a 2.0 16v turbo engine from a friend, worked grea...

if you make the surgetank aprox. 2 litres you'll have a minute supplie of fuel. would be hard to loose all supply to the pickup point in the original tank for a whole minute. in-tank pump is also a good one to feed the surge tank. i don't exactly remember how the GTV6 tank looks like but i th...

i think you can use two original high pressure pumps. the return line from the surgetank to the original tank will prevent it from becoming pressurized. You could also have your ogiginal tank cut open and have some baffle plates installed. this way your fuel won't move to far away from the pick up p...

That's also a factor, trust... If an engine is no longer in a car you just have to take the word of the owner on it that it is a good engine. If you get ripped off you want to make sure it doesn't happen again. :? For an engine that i haven't heard running i'm not willing to spend much ( unless i kn...

Here in the Netherlands it's not really worth that much, maybe somebody will give you 250 euros... From what i understand they're pretty rare in Italy, that should increase the value. In the USA these engines might be worth more but shipping it there is expensive. So it is hard to sy what it is wort...

if you have a long, old belt you can cut it of at the right length. That's how i did it the last time. or when it is too short you just cut it and measure the gap when you put it on, combine it with the length of the belt and then you know what length you'll need.

So you cannot mix and match cranks, pulleys and flywheels? The reason i'm asking is I have a 164 3.0 24v engine in which i would like to put a Sei crank with the Sei flywheel and the 24v pulley... Balancing is going to be a problem this way if i understand it right. Might just have to take another r...

You're wrong...

Alfa 2.5 engine from 155 was also used in the Fiat Croma. lancia also used a 3.0 engine in some of it models. they have black intake trumpets instead of chromed ones.

The Fiat Croma v6 is very rare here in Holland.
