Re: World Cup 2010
Paston did an amazing job for our #2 goalie! A lot of talk here about the ref and how he was just letting Italy fall over every time they were challenged. and that penalty shot/goal was a laugh. Cant wait for the next game on friday morning. will be getting up at 2am to watch the game then go to wor...

Re: World Cup 2010
Cant believe our team kept Italy to a one all draw.
This is a great effort from a team raked 78th vs a team ranked #5.
Go New Zealand, Go the All Whites!

Re: 2.5L -> 2.8L 12v project
Cheers guys, Will have to do some more digging. My brother builds race engines so he will be building it and I wanted to do something different than just dropping in a 3.0L. No offence to anyone that has done a 3.0L conversion, just thought it would be more interesting to keep the 2.5 block but get ...

2.5L -> 2.8L 12v project
Hi Guys,
Looking to rebuild my 2.5 as a 2.8 using 3.0L sleeves and pistons.
I was sure someone had done this before but cant find the info.
Anyone have a link to their project or can give any pointers?
Many thanks
Karl

Re: GTV race car.
Good work Ben,
I was hoping to get to the pukekohe round early in the new year (30-31 Jan), but it looks like i may not be needed for the F5000.
Were the Alfa's racing at this meeting?
Might just fly up for a look/vacation.

Performance rotors from Centreline
Hi guys,
I tried searching but could not find the answer.
Is anyone using the performance slotted and drilled rotors from centreline?
what are you thoughts over the standard rotors?
Also anyone tried the IAP ones?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Fiberglass bonnet and hatch
i would agree, the glass would be to heavy.
if you had a fibre glass hatch you would need to use a lexan or plastic rear window to keep the weight down.

Re: Power steering into '87 GTV6
I have weighed up the pros and cons and i think i will pass on the power steer.
I went on a 300km round trip on the weekend over some twisty hills and the steering was not heavy.
Just parking is a pain, might have to go to the gym instead!
Thanks anyway quys.
