extended spindle / upright

Post by Zamani »

Would anyone be interested in extended spindle / upright? Will fit 16" wheels only.

Was thinking of putting in the classifieds section, but am not 100% sure of selling it yet.

Don't need it anymore? How much are you asking?

Jes, maybe on the Verde... For the 3.7s we MAY need them and we will need the ones for 17" at that...
...to Alfa, or not to Alfa? That is the question...

From a geometrical theoretical viewpoint I would think that wheel size is immatrial as long as rim+tire diameter is the same. The center of the wheel where it connects to the suspension is at the same position (height) regardless of rim size. However, as Zamani pointed out privately, it may not fit under a 15" rim. So, the only dependency on rim size I can see relates to whether it fits under the rim. From a suspension geometry point of view I don't see why the size of the rim matters.

Can someone please explain?
